Because of the recent expansion, the Sandvik management team believe that it is prudent to hold back on actively seeking additional people, in order for the new recruits to establish themselves with the departments.

 

Market conditions will largely dictate the timing and pace of recruitment in general and the company will make an assessment of resource requirments as the New Year progresses.  However, it is keen to stress that it hopes to further extend its engineering expertise during 2009 and, therefore, wishes to enter into meaningful dialogue with high level engineers who can enhance the current team.
